Five One Labs is a startup incubator and entrepreneurship ecosystem builder headquartered in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq (KRI) – and soon to be scaling across Iraq – that supports diverse entrepreneurs in launching scalable, innovative businesses. Since launching in 2017, we have been at the forefront of the Iraq’s rapidly growing entrepreneurial ecosystem and have supported displaced as well as local entrepreneurs to launch impressive, innovative startups.
As the first startup incubator in the country, we have had the privilege of working with hundreds of talented entrepreneurs from Iraq and Syria, as well as global investors and supporters. As interest in entrepreneurship across the country grows, we are looking to reach more founders and continue providing high-quality programming and services to meet their needs.
Five One Labs runs a coworking space in Sulaimani and an innovation hub in Erbil; supports growth-stage women-led businesses through our Female Founders Fellowship; and strengthens the local investment ecosystem through our Five One Invest initiative.
