DHL Global Forwarding has an opening for Accountant in Iraq. In this specific position you be responsible to develop and administer finance processes and policies related to two or more of the Finance Job Families (e.g. a combination of RTR, PTP and Controlling activities) by meeting day-to-day financial needs of business related to fund management, cash flow, financial and budgetary controlling and reporting, advising and supporting the business in financial matters in line with business needs, finance strategy, regulations, accounting principles and standards

In this Accountant position

• You will deliver projects and processes related to financial administration, Controlling and fund Accounting as per objectives and timelines.
• Act as a Guideline managers on finance matters and interpretation of financial results and measures in the context of business operations
•  You will have to maintain awareness of business outlook to identify business implications and risks.
•  You will keep up to date on changes in relevant financial metrics such as inflation, exchange rates, interest rates etc. and their potential impact on the business.
•  You will have to monitor financial resources and ensure that financial transactions, systems, and procedures comply with regulations, accounting principles and standards.
•  You will identify opportunities and improve the quality of internal and external financial data.
•  You will have to identify, analyze and develop solutions for difficult issues in existing financial processes, systems and methods.
•  You will have to apply own expertise and respond to complex and escalated enquiries related to finance.
•  You will develop and administer finance processes and policies related to two or more of the Finance Job Families (e.g., a combination of RTR, PTP and Controlling activities) as per the business needs of the defined organization.
•  You will have to provide forward looking financial insight on market conditions, competitors, and alternative business scenarios.

Now, here’s what we need from you

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience/qualification.
• More than four-4 years of experience within the same field.
• Excellent communicator in English, both written and Verbal.
• Knowledge of Pack Microsoft applications
