Job Overview

Position: Admin/HR Assistant

Reporting To: Basra Office Manager

Duty Station: Basra Office

Responsibilities of the Job:

Administrational duties and responsibilities:

  • Issuing Official correspondences with government / visit government entities and follow up.
  • Controlling and recording official communication reference numbers.
  • Translation of Official Communications and documentation as per business need.
  • Employee Transportation arrangement.
  • Employee Accommodation arrangement.
  • Business Trip Arrangement.
  • Visitors care.
  • Stationery Purchase and Control. (Expense / Budget Control / Vendor management).
  • Follow up Company Car check and readiness / maintenance requirement / movement records.
  • Managing Food Services for events and occasions.
  • Purchasing of Office equipment.
  • Purchasing reports and inventory control.
  • Company Store Management.
  • Assist new joiner onboarding, orientation, and finalizing contractual documents.
  • Lead engagement activities in Basra.
  • Follow up on health insurance, medical checkups, and other related matters.
  • Follow up clearance process.
  • Any other administrational duties assigned based on the business need.

HR duties and responsibilities:

  • Assist new joiner onboarding, orientation, and finalizing contractual documents.
  • Lead engagement activities in Basra.
  • Follow up on health insurance , medical checkups, and other related matters
  • Follow up clearance process
  • Attendance daily report / check.
  • Filling
  • HR support for social security / health check / Operation license renewal.
  • Engagement activities
  • Any Extra duty maybe assigned by HR Management upon business need.

Requirements:

  • At least 2years’ of work experience in a similar role, and good knowledge of administrational and HR requirements.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business administration or related field.
  • Fluency in English and Arabic.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Power Point, Outlook, etc.)
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Iraqi nationality
