Role Purpose

Manage and oversee the full financial function within the Iraq business. Provide a support structure to all role players within the Iraq network. Please note: This position is open to Iraqi nationals only.

What you will be doing

  • Maintain complete and proper records of Revenue, Expenditure, Assets and Liabilities, and ensure accuracy, timeliness and integrity of financial information, i.e., oversee full accounting function
  • Analysing monthly Profit & Loss Statement.
  • Preparation of ad hoc reports and presentations.
  • To ensure all balance sheet accounts are reconciled monthly and does not have any unauthorised postings.
  • Prepare month-end audit files.

Key Skills, Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting.
  • Advanced Microsoft excel, and familiar with accounting software – SUN system.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience
  • Good knowledge of financial reporting standards (IFRS).
  • Good knowledge of Iraqi accounting standards.
  • Communication skills in English and Arabic, both verbal and written.
  • High attention to detail, and detail oriented.
  • Strong leadership skills with a dedication to driving and achieving results.
