Job Description

Zain Iraq is Actively recruiting to hire B2B Experienced Technical Sales who will be responsible for supporting sales productivity and deal flow by securing the “technical close” in complex solutions. they collaborate with sales, service, engineering, and technical support resources to ensure proposed deals include technical solutions that accurately address customer needs, and are appropriately supported by key customer technical decision-makers. The B2B Experienced Technical Sales is responsible for achieving sales, revenue, and profit targets.
They use the results of the analysis to participate in the development and deployment of new different products and services and monitor results and achievements as per the applicable policies and procedures. They also communicate with other departments when needed to ensure alignment and consistency such as in customer management. They also maintain relationships with suppliers and partners as per the pre-established SLAs.

  • Understand Marketing strategy and plans and participate in the achievement of objectives and targets
  • Implement Marketing policies and procedures
  • Proactively scopes the technical solution required to address customer requirements, assesses customers’ met and unmet needs, and recommends solutions that optimize value for both the customer and the firm.
  • Secures input from all necessary solution stakeholders within the customer firm. Adapts solutions, as necessary, to ensure appropriate support.
  • Coordinates closely with enterprise sales, Government sales, and Corporate Sales Support teams to align solution design with customers’ business requirements.
  • Secures from customer technical staff commitments needed to ensure a deal’s “technical close.”
  • Meets assigned targets for revenue, and profitable sales growth in assigned solutions both fixed and mobile.
  • Provides coaching and professional development to sales team members to enhance their product knowledge.
  • Pursues additional business development opportunities within customer firms. Collaborates with sales to ensure these opportunities are effectively covered and advanced.
  • Monitors customer support for technical solutions proposed throughout the sales process, and alerts the sales and account teams to potential risks of deal closure
  • Provide inputs and ideas for the development of key programs, value propositions, and offers for  the B2B segment in coordination with B2B Marketing, Product Development, and IT
  • Build business cases including financials and get stakeholders’ approvals on new/revamped B2B solutions.
  • Participate in the implementation of approved programs and lifecycle in coordination with Sales and Customer Care Entities
  • Perform basic analysis of programs performance and forward results to supervisor for decision making
  • Ensure end-to-end customer experience management through steering committees with other relevant business functions and report all activities carried out by these committees regularly

What Do You Need to Qualify


  • Bachelor’s degree in IT-related field or equivalent


  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience with at least 1 year in a similar role
