The Manager – Human Capital  will lead, oversee and manage the effective implementation of the regional human capital strategy. The role holder will direct and facilitate the delivery of key HC services and infrastructure in line with the global HC strategy for efficient and effective services at multi-levels in addition to efficient human capital processes, programs and policies. The role holder is responsible for partnering with the country leadership teams to build a high performing, lean and diverse organization, as well as an engaging and agile culture to drive a healthy and productive work environment.

 

Minimum qualifications/education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or relevant field
  • Professional HR Certification such as CIPD / SHRM is preferred

Miniumum experience

  • A minimum of 5– 10 years of relevant experience in Human Capital
  • A minimum of 2 to 5 years  of  Human Capital Leadership experience, ideally in a Retail industry or similar industry.

Skills

  • Strategic thinking using employee insights and data to build relevant engagement strategies; translate these strategies into effective campaigns, programs and initiatives.
  • Strategic perspective able to think about the human capital and organization objectives from the point of view of multiple functions/stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to lead the entire range of problem solving work from problem definition to analysis, recommendation and the development of implementation plans.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with key internal and external leaders, partners, suppliers and customers
  • Ability to inspire and engage others in a long-term vision of Majid Al Futtaim Retail
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to work under pressure, balancing conflicting demands and meeting tight deadlines
  • Personal integrity and the ability to invoke trust and respect
  • English (Full professional proficiency – Required); Local language preferred
