Business Development Specialist

Job Overview

  • customer needs and requirements to develop effective quality control processes
  • Support various departments supplying necessary International Certificates such as ISO, CE, and
    API to provide requirements
  • Monthly visit the plant to check the BD department’s essential progress in various parts of the plant
  • Communication with customers in case of quality assurance and support third party laboratories
  •  To Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs
  • Strong written, verbal communication, and presentation skills; strong conceptual and analytical
    skills.
  • Reviewing technical offers for new projects and/or extension of current facilities
  • New project feasibility study report (FSR) and technical proposal valuation
  • Cooperate with the marketing department to prepare BD department retirements
  • Coordination with Quality Control & Production Dept regarding the quality and quantity of bitumen required for customers according to the contract
  • Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction
  • To work closely with the QC department to ensure consistent quality operating standards are set
    and maintained with customer demands
  • Capable to articulate a specific process for uncovering new opportunities from scratch without the
    use of a lead generation function; able to use cold calling, networking, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator to get to decision-makers and make a strong case for the solution
  • Research, locate, define, and target key business prospects.
  • Act as liaison between customers and internal product and operations teams to ensure our products and services continue to evolve with market needs
  • Research in the market for new requirements according to ASTM, BS/EN Standards
  • Work with customers to provide feedback to development teams for new content and products
  • Report out weekly to the BD manager on your sales strategy which includes all call and email
    activity, what meetings have scheduled and completed
