Job Summary:

As a Cyber Security Trainer, you will lead the development and delivery of high-quality cyber security training programs. You will empower NGO team/employees with the knowledge and skills to protect sensitive information, understand cyber threats, and implement effective security measures. The Cyber Security Trainer will develop and deliver comprehensive cybersecurity training programs tailored to the needs of our client.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Curriculum Development: Design and update training materials and courses that cover current cyber security trends, threats, and preventive measures. Ensure content relevance to the NGO’s specific context and risk landscape.
• Training Delivery: Conduct engaging and interactive training sessions and workshops for employees across different departments and levels of the organization. Utilize a variety of training methodologies to cater to diverse learning styles.
• Assessment and Evaluation: Develop assessments to gauge employee knowledge and skills pre- and post-training. Use feedback to continually refine training programs and address gaps in knowledge.
• Incident Response Training: Provide training on incident response protocols, ensuring employees understand their roles in detecting, reporting, and responding to cyber security incidents.
• Policy and Compliance: Educate employees on relevant cyber security policies, standards, and regulations that the NGO must adhere to. Promote understanding of compliance requirements and the rationale behind them.
• Continuous Learning: Stay updated on emerging cyber threats and evolving security technologies. Integrate new insights and tools into training programs to maintain their effectiveness and relevance.
• Customized Training: Identify specific training needs for different employee groups, including those involved in sensitive or high-risk areas, and develop customized training accordingly.
• Reporting: Regularly report on training progress, challenges, and outcomes to senior management and relevant stakeholders.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security, or a related field. Master Degree is preferred;
• Minimum 3 years of experience in cyber security, with a proven track record of conducting training sessions, workshops, or seminars
• Fluency in Kurdish or Arabic languages, English language is privilege.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and Outlook);
• Proficiency in creating and delivering training content and materials.
• Ability to assess training effectiveness and adapt programs based on feedback.
• In-depth knowledge of cyber security principles, practices, tools, and technologies.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information in an understandable manner.
• Experience in designing and delivering training programs.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
