Job Overview
Description:
- Oversee and coordinate restaurant operations during shifts.
- Supervise and support waitstaff to ensure smooth service.
- Assign tasks and responsibilities to waitstaff and communicate expectations clearly.
- Monitor dining room activity and ensure guests receive prompt and courteous service.
- Address customer inquiries, feedback, and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Assist with training and development of waitstaff, including product knowledge and service standards.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate food preparation and delivery.
- Handle cash transactions and reconcile receipts at the end of each shift.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; good experience in hospitality management or related field preferred.
- Preferably speaking Kurdish, and Arabic.
- Female candidates are highly encouraged to apply.
- Proven experience as a captain or in a similar customer service role.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.
- Knowledge of food and beverage preparation and service techniques.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Familiarity with basic computer skills.
- Must adhere to hygiene and safety standards.
