About KSC: 

Kurdistan Save the Children is a non-profit, non-political, and non-sectarian organization that provides assistance regardless of race, gender, traditions, political or religious affiliation. We work with children in various fields of child protection, sponsorship, health and education. Our main aim is to work directly or indirectly, to ensure a better future for children, through improving and providing their various medical, social, economic, and educational needs. KSC has been established in 1991. our main office is located in Sulaymaniyah.

Work Location: Kurdistan Save the Children main office / Suleimani

Division/Department: Health Program

Reports to: Health Program Manager

Duration of The Contract:  Sep ,2024  to   Dec , 2024 ,with possibility of extension

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1.     Case Management:

·         Coordinate with local hospital, all relevant Doctors and partners to develop a referral pathway and referral mechanism.

·         Professional management of cases (psychological support of families and kids, maintain the security and confidentiality of case)

·         Volunteer work when needed is a part of this job.

·         Participation in course and these activities related to case management.

 

2.     Reporting:

·         Case Management Supervisor Should provide report of all data of case provided with services.

 

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

·         Advanced degree in Social Work, Public Health, or other relevant field.

·         Previous Work Experience in NGO is required.

·         Extremely flexible, and have ability to cope with stressful situations and frustrations.

·         Team player and strong Communication skill.

·         Excellent decision – making skill and make decision in dependently.

·         Proficient in computer applications MS Word, MS Excel.

·         English language is requested; Arabic is a plus.
