Dr. Atyaf Centers for IVF and infertility is a chain of medical centers, general hospitals, and specialized hospitals under the Dr. Atyaf brand name located in different cities in Iraq, which includes (Erbil – Baghdad – Basra – Anbar – Sulaymaniyah – Kut ). The Very first private IVF center and the very first private and successful IVF operation in Iraq is the Erbil branch which then allowed the founder an immense reputation which then made her think about and eventually branch out to different cities in order to fulfill the vision. Which is to serve the people of Iraq successfully and as it has done so since 2007 and it will continue serving the people of Iraq and possibly abroad for as long as possible not just as an IVF center or chain of IVF centers but as a medical institution mostly specialized in gynecology with a possible future in other branches of the medical sector.

Job Summary:

The role of Cashier is to ensure accurate and efficient financial transactions while delivering exceptional customer service. The primary responsibility of Cashier is to process payments from patients and visitors, maintain accurate records, and provide assistance with inquiries. The ideal candidate should possess excellent numerical skills, attention to detail, and exceptional interpersonal skills to thrive in this role.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Greet patients and visitors in a courteous and professional manner;
• Process payments for medical services using various payment methods, including cash, credit/debit cards, and insurance claims;
• Calculate and provide accurate change when necessary;
• Verify insurance coverage and assist patients with billing inquiries;
• Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and reconcile cash drawers at the end of each shift;
• Prepare and issue receipts, refunds, credits, or change as required;
• Ensure confidentiality of patient information and adhere to all relevant data protection guidelines;
• Respond to patient inquiries and provide information about services, fees, and insurance coverage;
• Collaborate with other staff members to resolve any payment-related issues or discrepancies;
• Assist with administrative tasks, such as filing, organizing paperwork, and maintaining a clean and orderly cashier area;
• Stay updated on the medical center’s policies, procedures, and services.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

• Diploma or Bachelor Degree in Accounting or Finance;
• Minimum two years of experience in Cashier or similar positions the similar positions, preferably in a medical or healthcare sector;
• Fluency in Arabic and English languages;
• Proficiency in Ms. Office (Word, Excel & Outlook.);
• Familiarity with medical billing software and insurance claims processing is a plus;
• Excellent numerical aptitude and attention to detail;
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills;
• Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and professionalism;
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Working Condition & Benefits:

Working Days & Hours: 6 Days per week & 8 Hours per day;

Salary: Negotiable, based on Applicants’ knowledge and experience;

Annual leave: 21 Days;
