Job Overview
Duties:
Responsible for all existing and new civil/structural installations and applications, on the Baghdad Embassy Compound (BEC) and U.S. Mission Iraq (USMI), to include 357+ total structures located on 104 acres of the main Baghdad Embassy Compound (BEC), East End and West End compounds, as well as technical support for regional U.S. Mission Iraq Consulates, Embassy Branch Offices, and other installations. Plans, reviews, and coordinates design and construction operations to ensure compliance with design drawings and specifications. Ensures completion of projects per schedule are within budget, and in accordance with applicable codes and quality standards. Monitor, verify, and document work being performed.
Requirements:
Experience:
Five (5) years of experience in civil engineering related to building construction and renovation on large scale residential or commercial development projects, of which, two (2) years of experience in construction project management and oversight is required.
Key Requirements: Qualifications: All applicants under consideration will be required to pass medical, IZ Badge, and security certifications.
Education Requirements: University degree in civil engineering from an accredited institution is required.
