Civil Engineer

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Project planning and feasibility studies by assessing the feasibility of proposed project and conducting site investigation and analyzing data.
• Creating detailed designs and plans using engineering principles. Utilizing computer-aided design (CAD) software for drafting.
• Manage and develop project budget and cost estimation.
• Manage overseas construction process and ensure adherence to design specifications and report the project process steps.
• Lead and develop projects from early concept through design development.
• Implementing quality control measures to ensure project integrity.
• Choosing appropriate materials for construction projects and evaluating the quality and suitability of materials.
• Identifying potential risks associated with projects and developing strategies to mitigate and manage risks.
• Planning and designing infrastructure for site development and addressing issues related to grading, drainage, and utilities.
• Creating and maintaining project documentation, generating reports, drawings, and specifications.
• Enhance Working with a multidisciplinary team of professionals. Communicating effectively with stakeholders.
• Developing plans for the maintenance and rehabilitation of existing infrastructure. Implementing strategies to extend the life of existing structures.
• Design and document commercial and industrial building projects.
• Work with teams across business lines, in remote locations, and coordinate with subcontractors.
• Developing and presenting project proposals.
• Conduct research and analysis on market supply and demand for goods/products, services, and facilities in the areas.
• Carry out quantitative or qualitative research.
• Keeping up to date with advancements in engineering technologies and methodologies.

Requirements:

• At least 3 years in a similar role, and good knowledge in automotive sector.
• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Power Point, Outlook, Word.) and design applications (civil 3D, autocad,geotechnical..etc.).
• Fluency in Arabic, and English , Kurdish is a plus.
