Iraq Office Staff

General objective of the position:
The Cleaner will be responsible for ensuring the workplace is always clean and sanitary. She/he will perform a range of duties, including dusting, mopping and sweeping floors. Making sure restrooms and common areas stay fresh by performing routine inspections every day at specified times.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

General Cleaning:

• Perform routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping and mopping.
• Dust and wipe surfaces, furniture, and equipment to maintain a clean and tidy environment.

Waste Management:

• Collect and dispose of office waste in designated bins, ensuring proper separation of recyclables.

Restroom cleaning:

• Clean and sanitize restroom facilities regularly, replenishing supplies as needed.

Kitchen and Break Area:

• Clean kitchen appliances and sinks.
• Ensure break areas are tidy and free of clutter.

Window and Glass Cleaning:

• Clean windows, glass partitions, and other glass surfaces to maintain a clear and presentable workspace.

Maintaining Supplies:

• Monitor and report the need for cleaning supplies and ensure their proper storage.

Assistance in Events:

• Provide cleaning support before and after events or meetings held in the office.

Adherence to Safety Standards:

• Follow safety guidelines when handling cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Report any safety hazards or maintenance issues to the supervisor.

Key Other Duties:

• Perform any other related duties assigned by your immediate supervisor;
• Reporting mechanism will be for functioning and technical advices to Operation Coordinator on monthly basis

THE CANDIDATE’S REQUIREMENTS

Mandatory Qualifications required

•        Minimum 3 years’ experience

•        Highschool diploma

Languages

•        Mother tongue in Kurdish

•        Arabic is desirable
