Job Overview

Position Summary:

The Commercial Manager is primarily responsible for the consistent meeting and exceeding of annual sales targets and other relevant KPIs. The position will manage and develop professional rapport with important clients in order to both maximize sales opportunities, as well as ensure lasting relationships. The Commercial Manager will also oversee the design and implementation of tailored, country specific initiatives aimed at increasing customer satisfaction and sales opportunities, while leading the sales team at all stages of the sales process from customer discovery to closing.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the development of TASC business and sales opportunities within assigned geography.
  • Procure and develop quality working relationships with potential and current TASC clients at all levels including decision makers and decision influencers.
  • Be proactive in proposing innovative solutions to client problems.
  • Work closely with corporate marketing and legal to fine tune customer lease agreements to satisfy customer needs while meeting TASC’s KPI’s.
  • Facilitate strategic planning to improve client outcomes.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the competitive landscape and wider industry trends.
  • Process and evaluate client feedback on TASC services and other offerings the client may need.
  • Work with multiple departments and internal stakeholders to ensure a seamless and productive experience for key clients.
  • Lead the sales effort within assigned geography by setting a proactive and effective example for direct reports and other stakeholders while driving revenue growth through effective leadership.
  • Increase TASC brand awareness and participate in marketing initiatives as necessary.
  • Effectively diagnose inefficiencies in sales strategy or other aspects of the sales process and propose innovative solutions.
  • Produce accurate sales forecasts on a quarterly basis.
  • Perform any relevant tasks as assigned by the Commercial Director.

Required Experience:

  • Expert-level knowledge of the telecommunication industry and relevant key players.
  • Proven sales executive experience including a history of meeting and exceeding targets.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills and the ability develop strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Superb organizational skills to manage and carry out multiple responsibilities in a timely fashion.
  • Strong dedication to customer service.
  • Excellent leadership skills to maximize the potential of direct reports and other internal teams.
  • In-depth understanding of key clients and ability to navigate working with a wide range of customers.
  • Adept strategic mind for effectively solving client problems and driving sales growth.
  • Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in sales to wireless telecommunication carriers.
  • Minimum five (5) years of experience in the Country market working with TASC’s customers.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, Sales, or a related technical field.
  • MBA or other master’s degree preferred.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Fluency (both oral and written) in both English and Arabic.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong sales and negotiation skills.
