Wood is recruiting for a Compliance Analyst (Local National) to join its Iraq Business Unit to provide compliance analysis (Anti-corruption and due diligence) of the Potential Suppliers, including supplier information, Ownership Structure, Bank information, Conflicts of interest and Ethical practices, etc.
This role is onsite in Basra, Iraq with Travel Requirement.
Rotation: 5 days on 2 days off

Key Objectives
- Provides Compliance analysis (Anti-corruption and due diligence) of the Potential Suppliers, including supplier information, Ownership Structure, Bank information, Conflicts of interest and Ethical practices, etc.
- Support Supplier set up in Supplier management system and the Purchase to Pay system, including Bank account change.
- Supports the Controls Manager to monitor controls activities as per the controls calendar (incl. controls report, in-line-file reviews, annual inventory count, controls catalogue, business contingency plan, etc.).
- Supports the Controls Manager to review existing processes and procedures and recommend enhancements.
- Conducts in-line-file reviews to ensure that appropriate controls are in place.
- Ensures that identified gaps are properly documented and closed.
- Conducts Compliance training to Procurement personnel and Business Lines when appropriate.

Expected:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Education in Business or Science
- 5+ year experience in Procurement (O&G or Project Management sector preferred)
- Strong background/knowledge of Acquisition, Payables, Supply Chain and Warehousing activities.
- Strong knowledge of compliance requirements (FCPA, Controls, Business Practices, anti-corruption, and due diligence)
- Strong knowledge of systems (Maximo and IDEAS, preferably)
- Good interpersonal & communication skills
- Strong analytical, stewardship and reporting skills
- Ability to Influence without authority
