Compliance and Disbursement Audit Officer

Job Overview


This position is responsible for reviewing internal entity policies to ensure they align with external & internal regulations. Keeping up to date with, and understanding, relevant laws and regulations. Also, monitoring the financial activities to ensure they are legal and in compliance with internal and external policies.


Bachelor’s degree in accounting, law, business administration, or a related field

1 – 2 years’ proven experience in a compliance officer role

  • Regularly audit company procedures, practices, and documents to identify possible weaknesses or risks.
  • Performing the full audit cycle including risk management and control management over operations’ effectiveness, financial reliability and compliance with all applicable directives and regulations.
  • Obtaining, analyzing and evaluating accounting documentation, reports, data, flowcharts etc.
  • Identify loopholes and recommend risk aversion measures and cost savings.
  • Verifying company financial information.
  • Assisting in the auditing process as and when required.
  • Planning and performing company financial audits.
  • Preparing audit reports and statements for company section head/manager.
  • Ensuring compliance with state and company best practices.
  • Checking tax returns from companies and individuals.

Making sure the right amount of tax is being paid.
