Al-Mesalla.ORG for Human Resources Development is a non-governmental, non-profit civil society organization registered with both the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) and the Iraqi Central Government. Since 2004, Al-Mesalla has been actively operating in Iraq, focusing on civil society empowerment, women’s rights, livelihoods, peace, and justice
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct analysis and reporting on the local implementation of the second NAP 1325 priorities.
- Develop and disseminate high-quality monthly analytical reports.
- Provide expert insights and policy recommendations based on findings.
- Engage with local authorities, organizations, and stakeholders to ensure alignment with NAP 1325 objectives.
- Assist in capacity-building efforts related to gender policies and advocacy.
Qualifications & Experience
- Advanced degree in gender studies, human rights, public policy, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in policy analysis, research, and advisory roles.
- Strong background in NAP 1325, women’s rights frameworks, and gender-sensitive reporting.
- Excellent analytical and report-writing skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
