STANDARD MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education: An advanced university (master’s degree or equivalent) is required. A first-level university degree OR equivalent academic education in combination with additional years of qualifying experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced university degree. Certification or other qualification in training design and delivery is an advantage.
Experiences:
• A minimum of 8 years of relevant professional experience in project coordination and implementation, development of policy and procedures, working with senior level government institutes, working with criminal justice actors and/ or protection agencies is required.
• Expert knowledge in development of training curricula, policy documents, and legislative procedures is required
• Experience of working within an agency of the United Nations Secretariat is required.
• Working experience of working closely with Government of Federal Iraq is required;
• Familiarity with the modalities of cooperation with civil society and NGOs in Iraq is required;
• Strong knowledge on how to integrate gender and human rights considerations into criminal justice interventions is required.
Language:
• fluency in English, Arabic and Kurdish (i.e. oral and written proficiency and excellent drafting skills) is required.
