Vara Company is seeking for (Counter Sales Specialist) with a great analytical mind to join our team in Basra Branch to develop sales strategies and attract new clients.

Key responsibilities & duties
- Engage with customers who visit the showroom, greet them, and understand their requirements. Provide information about different machinery and equipment options available, and educate customers about their features, functions, and benefits.
- Develop an in-depth understanding of the machinery and equipment available in the showroom, including their specifications, performance, and pricing. Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and advancements to effectively communicate with customers and address their queries.
- Guide customers through the entire sales process, from initial contact to final purchase. Assist customers in selecting the right machinery or equipment that aligns with their needs and budget. Negotiate prices, provide accurate quotations, and finalize sales transactions.
- Maintain strong relationships with customers and provide excellent after-sales support. Follow up with customers to ensure their satisfaction with their purchases, address any concerns or issues, and offer assistance with warranty claims or servicing requirements.
- Meet or exceed sales targets set by the management. Actively participate in promotional activities, such as machinery exhibitions, trade shows, and demonstrations, to attract potential customers and generate leads.
- Coordinate with the internal team, including sales managers, technicians, and other sales personnel, to provide seamless customer service and address any customer-specific requirements. Collaborate with the marketing team to develop effective strategies for customer acquisition and retention.
- Conduct market research to identify potential customers, competitor analysis, and industry trends. Provide feedback to the management regarding customer preferences, competitor strategies, and market demands to optimize sales and marketing efforts.
- Stay updated with product knowledge, customer service skills, and sales techniques through training programs, workshops, and self-study. Continuously improve your skills to enhance customer satisfaction and achieve sales objectives.
Work experience & skills
- BSc in Mechanical Engineering, marketing or relevant field.
- Proven sales experience.
- English and Arabic required
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Minimum of three-year experience working in organizations or companies.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work under different circumstances
- Ability to work with other team members
