Position: Cyber Security & IT Specialist
Location: Erbil
Working conditions: Saturdays to Thursdays. From 9 AM to 5 PM.

Key Responsibilities

Cybersecurity Responsibilities:

– Monitor and manage security alerts across systems and networks to quickly identify and respond to threats.
– Conduct regular vulnerability scans and penetration testing to identify risks and enforce security measures.
– Implement security measures and policies to safeguard information systems, including network access controls, firewalls, and anti-virus solutions.
– Investigate security incidents, document findings, and take action to prevent future occurrences.
– Educate and train employees on cybersecurity practices and protocols to strengthen the organization’s security posture.
– Handle ordering, renewal and maintenance of servers and email services.

IT Specialist Responsibilities:

– Install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware and software for employees, ensuring systems run efficiently.
– Manage user accounts, permissions, and access within systems to ensure appropriate data access and compliance.
– Provide technical support for end-users by responding to help desk requests, diagnosing problems, and implementing solutions.
– Maintain IT infrastructure such as servers, network equipment, and cloud resources, ensuring optimal performance.
– Purchasing IT materials for new employees and ensuring IT support.
– Backup and restore data to safeguard information assets and minimize downtime.
– Exchange Online Portal
– Azure Cloud Management (Virtual Machine)

Qualifications:

– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
– Certifications such as CEH is preferred.
– At least three years experiences in IT field.
– Proven experience in IT support and cybersecurity roles.
– Proficiency with security tools such as firewalls, antivirus software, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and SIEM solutions.
– Must be able to speak English, Kurdish and Arabic is a plus.
