Diagnostic Master Technician – Lexus Basra

Diagnostic Master Technician is to ensure the accurate and efficient diagnosis and resolution of complex mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues in Toyota vehicles. This role is crucial for maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction, vehicle reliability, and dealership reputation.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Utilize advanced diagnostic tools, equipment, and software to identify and troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues in Toyota vehicles.
• Perform in-depth diagnostics and repairs on various vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, braking systems, steering, and electrical components.
• Interpret diagnostic codes, technical manuals, and repair procedures to determine the most effective repair solutions.
• Stay current with the latest technical bulletins, service manuals, and training materials provided by Toyota to ensure compliance with manufacturer-specific diagnostic procedures.
• Lead and mentor junior technicians, providing guidance, training, and support to enhance their diagnostic skills and overall performance.
• Collaborate with service advisors and other team members to prioritize diagnostic and repair tasks based on customer needs and dealership objectives.
• Document diagnostic procedures, findings, and repair actions accurately for record-keeping and warranty purposes.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring proper handling and storage of tools, equipment, and vehicle parts.
• Adhere to safety protocols and dealership policies to promote a safe working environment for yourself and fellow team members.

Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance technical skills and stay updated with advancements in automotive technology.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent, additional education or certification in automotive technology is preferred.  Strong Knowledge of automotive products. Extensive experience (5+ years) as an automotive technician, with a focus on diagnostics. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Fluent in Arabic and English languages is mandatory.
