Role: Digital Engagement Specialist

Location: Erbil, Iraq

 

Key responsibilities for this role

 

  • Manages social media accounts and platforms.
  • Identifies new social media platforms and influencers to partner with and establishes relationships with them.
  • Maintains and coordinates relationships with existing partner platforms and influencers.
  • Disseminates promotes, and amplifies content on formats relevant, engaging, and shareable within pre-agreed audiences of various platforms.
  • Monitors and reports on products performance, effect, and analytics.
  • Undertakes engagement with platform audiences, including multiple direct conversations with users.
  • Produces weekly content dissemination calendar in coordination with other team members.
  • Works as part of a team to develop social media campaigns.
  • Other tasks as required.   

 

 

You will need to:

  • Keep up to date with national and international news and events that relate.
  • Share knowledge and insight gained widely across the team.
  • Problem solves and always ensure solutions are identified swiftly, maximizing opportunities to improve our work and minimizing inefficiencies.

 

Role requirements:

  • 2 years experience in social media management, strategic communication, or advertising role in an agency or international donor environment in the MENA region.
  • Ability to oversee campaign design and delivery from idea through to output, particularly in a digital environment.
  • Develop and deliver against project management templates.
  • Demonstrate the ability to foster cooperative, positive working relationships with all internal teams (film production, creative design, web, digital, and campaigns).
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Arabic.
