Wood is currently recruiting for Risk & Compliance Coordinator to strengthen our team in Basra, Iraq 6/1 daily work we are only considering applications from local Iraqi nationals preferably residing in Iraq, Basra

The successful candidate will be able to work under minimum level of supervision in a heavy workload environment. The Document Controller plays a crucial role in managing and controlling the flow of documents within our organization, ensuring compliance with established processes and standards. This role involves collaboration with various departments to establish and maintain document control processes, ensuring adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements. Working with the Project Management Team and the disciplines, the Document Controller is responsible for assuring smooth information exchange of the established protocol. Resolve issues between Project Management Team / disciplines or bring to the attention of the Information Management Manager and Project Services Manager. Ensure deliverables submission to stakeholders are issued in a timely manner. Be responsible for overall discipline and timekeeping within the DCC. Perform related duties as and when instructed by Information Management Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support to the wider team on targets/milestones.
  • Assist in preparation of ITT proposals
  • Accurately enter and update information in the electronic document management system (EDMS) & in Documentum
  • Coordinate and expedite Final Documentation (FD) and Documentation for Operations (DFO) between all respective parties.
  • Maintain document control registers / documents for incoming and outgoing project documents, by using department database (DDB/SBVD) for tracking and recording issued project document.
  • Monitor the design information, transfer between central engineering department, site, consultants & subcontractor.
  • In charge of receiving and redistributing all Documents
    (QCP, ITP, MS, Isometric, RFI’s, Handover Dossier, SQ, SD, DWR RT. PWHT, WELDING BOOK…. etc.)
  • Arranging/following up Test Packs W/Clint for site testing & to hand over till certification.
    Arranging the process of NCR, CAR, SDV,CTQ & MOM
  • Ensure that the latest revision and approval status of drawings is kept updated continuously.
  • A strong technical aptitude is a must for this position.
  • This individual should be comfortable with and proficient in using all types of documentation control related software and systems.
  • Experience with these systems is of value, and candidates who cite experience with such systems will be at an advantage in the hiring process.
  • Time management strength understanding importance of timely submissions.
  • As time writing management will form part of the responsibilities, management of people will be paramount

Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
  • 10+ working in similar field, within the Oil & Gas industry.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office as well as Inventory, Production and Quality Management Systems.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, follow-up, collaboration, accuracy, analysis, communication, writing and analytical skills.
  • in lieu of a degree, relevant work experience may be considered. Proving that the candidate has a solid foundation in the principles and practices of procurement and vendor selection.
