We’re looking for EHV Electrical Engineer in kalar, Iraq and the main job function is providing specialist EHV/HV field support to all Aggreko sites in Iraq.

What you’ll do:
- Mobilization (of EHV/HV equipment fit for purpose) and demobilization planning.
- Ensures that installations are completed before agreed first power date.
- Managing the Central region installation and Commissioning to accepted industry standards.
- Assist in the training and development of operations personnel both in Jebel Ali and on site.
- Officially hands over installed projects to the Central region Operations Manager in such a fashion that the latter and his crew fully understand the installation.
- Give electrical and mechanical field support during the life of the project.
- Cost management and beating defined budgets.
- Liaise with the Design Group to prepare site specific, as built, technical documentation.
- Carry out field audits on ongoing projects and assist with vacation relief.
- Setting of field electrical equipment to designed specifications.
- Carry out improvements and promote a continuous improvement philosophy.
- Working to defined Aggreko Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental procedures and policies.
- Displays a commitment to Operational Excellence activities.

You’ll have the following skills and experience:
- Professional qualification in Electrical Engineering
- Hands on knowledge of Electrical Engineering with at least 8 years’ experience
- Willing to travel
- CAD experience
- Kurdish language is must
