Job Overview
Summary
- Daily monitoring, support and maintenance of existing enterprise applications, including document management, E-Registration, Microsoft Dynamics AX 365, IBM Tivoli, TCRM, CVM and other related systems.
- Leads projects related to updating or installing new enterprise applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor the health of enterprise applications, including error logs, server performance, and memory and processor usage.
- Resolve and respond to tickets related to enterprise applications, plus all other applications as needed; note trends; perform troubleshooting; perform problem management, including escalating to other teams and to vendors as needed.
- Keep current on patches and releases related to enterprise applications; review release notes; track resolutions to existing software problems; recommend updates to install.
- Test of new software or new versions of software.
- Create/maintain test environments for each of the enterprise-wide applications, including server specifications and software installations, integrations and customizations.
- Create/maintain testing scripts for all enterprise-wide applications; manage testing teams and procedures and analyze test results.
- Act as the technical Lead for new enterprise applications or updates to existing applications; act as a project member on projects to which you are assigned that are run by another team member or manager.
- Interface with vendors on a regular basis regarding problems, bug-fixes and new software versions.
- Maintain a high level of knowledge in all enterprise applications via release notes, documentation, vendor dialogue and training classes.
- Act as a back-up for all other applications that may be primarily supported and maintained by others on the Applications team.
Competencies
- Knowledge of E-Registration, Microsoft Dynamics AX 365, IBM Tivoli, TCRM, CVM.
- Infrastructure, server, operating systems and network communications knowledge.
- Strong ability to install and maintain any enterprise application, including servers, customizations and integrations and disaster recover procedures.
- Basic understanding of ITIL concepts and best practices.
- Ability to own functional track, maintain project plan and provide updates on status.
- Working knowledge of Oracle and SQL databases.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment a must.
