Summary of Job Description:
The responsibilities include the supervision on the ESP equipment pick-up, test, and transportation, ESP installation (pump, packer, wellhead/packer feedthrough make-up), pulling out, DIFA, etc.
To train other stakeholders about the Rig activities including the ESP technical part and SHE.
This position is Rig-based with the work schedule of 14 days-on / 14 days-off.
- Supervision on ESP installation & pulling
- To supervise & support ESP contractors for the ESP downhole equipment collection and transportation from Warehouse to ESP contractors’ workshops, and the transportation from ESP workshops to Rig sites after the pre-delivery check and tests.
- To supervise & support ESP contractors for the removal and re-reinstatement of the cement blocks and cable trays before Rig move in and after rig moves off well sites.
- To coordinate Wellwork team to supervise the downhole ESP installation and pull-out operations at Rig sites.
- To supervise the ESP Contractors’ compliance with the SOP during Rig operations.
- To ensure the QA/AC in place.
- Work Interfaces
- To report to ESP Workover Engineer.
- To interface with Wellwork, Logistic, Warehouse teams for ESP installation, pulling and equipment pick-up, preparation.
Qualifications
- Basic knowledge for Mechanical/Electrical knowledge within Oil & Gas industry.
- Minimum 5 years’ working experience on ESP systems.
- Fluent in Arabic and English.
