Events & Sponsorship Specialist

Job Overview


Event & Sponsorship Specialist will support in all internal and external communication of the company through the use of various media outlets in collaboration with communications team. Draft media statements, answer media inquiries, compile publications, plan events and press conferences.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a communication strategy that includes media outreach and social media content creation related to any sponsorships & events.
  • Analyze and quantify the impact of Marketing Communication activities & sponsorships against sales objectives.
  • Arrange and coordinate press conferences, and plan events, and all preparations related to long term sponsorships.
  • Monitor and benchmark the competitor activities.
  • Help with branding all Korek Telecom activities in Events & Sponsorships.
  • Propose and execute communication activities based on priorities and objectives of the company.
  • Help in Preparing and distributing press releases for all Korek activities.
  • Draft content (e.g. press releases & captions, & Website content) for mass media or company website.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of media programs and communicate the results.
  • Supervise internal/external corporate and local events in support of corporate strategy.
  • Travel to cover sponsorships and events and manage the media & social media coverage.
  • Support other departments with tasks related to communication, Marketing and Sales.
  • Take the initiative to expand Korek’s customer’s data base and hold events and activities that help to do so.
  • Once there’s a long term sponsorship, the Events & Sponsorship Specialist will be the main focal point for the sponsorship and will arrange all the requirements and support the other party according to the agreement between Korek and the sponsored party.
  • Any other duties as assigned.

Work Experience



Bachelor in Communications, Marketing or related field.
