Job Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Field Sales Specialist to join our team within our machinery company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating leads, nurturing client relationships, and closing sales deals.

The role requires extensive knowledge of machinery products, and the ability to understand and address customer needs effectively.

Key responsibilities & duties:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
  • Conduct regular visits to customer sites to assess their needs and address any concerns.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve sales targets and increase market share.
  • Identify new business opportunities and potential customers within the assigned territory.
  • Generate leads through networking, cold calling, and other sales tactics.
  • Prepare and present sales proposals, quotes, and contracts to customers.
  • Develop a deep understanding of our machinery products and their features and benefits.
  • Provide technical expertise and support to customers during pre-sales and post-sales stages.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and training sessions for customers as needed.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments.
  • Provide feedback to the management team on market conditions, customer needs, and competitor strategies.
  • Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts to track progress towards sales targets.
  • Work closely with the sales team, engineers, and other departments to ensure customer satisfaction and achieve company goals.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to resolve customer issues and address technical inquiries.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in the machinery or industrial equipment industry.
  • Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand and explain complex machinery products.
  • Kurdish, Arabic and English required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Results-oriented with a track record of achieving sales targets.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively within the Iraq.
