Job Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Field Sales Specialist to join our team, focusing on oil and lubricant sales within our machinery company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating leads, nurturing client relationships, and closing sales deals.
The role requires extensive knowledge of oil products, machinery, and the ability to understand and address customer needs effectively.

Key responsibilities & duties

  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve sales targets and expand the customer base in the lubricant and oil sector.
  • Identify and prioritize prospective clients within the industry, including refineries, drilling companies, and other relevant businesses.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients through regular communication, meetings, and presentations.
  • Conduct thorough market research to stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials, campaigns, and strategies tailored to the oil sector.
  • Provide product demonstrations, technical support, and training sessions to clients as needed.
  • Prepare and deliver sales proposals, contracts, and quotations, ensuring accuracy and alignment with company policies.
  • Negotiate terms and conditions of sales agreements, including pricing, delivery schedules, and payment terms.
  • Coordinate with internal departments such as operations, logistics, and finance to ensure seamless execution of sales orders and customer satisfaction.
  • Track sales activities, pipeline development, and customer interactions using CRM software, and generate regular reports for management review.

Work experience & skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical engineer, Marketing, Engineering, or related field.
  • English, Kurdish and Arabic required.
  • Proven track record of successful sales experience in the lubricant industry, preferably within a machinery or equipment context.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively.
  • Willingness to travel extensively to meet clients and attend industry events.
