main aim is to work directly or indirectly, to ensure a better future for children, through improving

and providing their various medical, social, economical, and educational needs.

KSC has been established in 1991. our main office is located in Sulaymaniyah.

 

Project title:

Child Protection Services and Assistance for refugees and Asylum Seekers in Erbil and Sulaymaniyah.

About project:

This project seeks to provide protection services to refugees/asylum seekers, IDPS and host community children with the main focus on refugees/asylum seekers residing in the urban and camp areas of Erbil and Sulaymaniyah Governorates through: Providing specialized child protection services and support through case management for refugees, Conducting BIA and participating in the BID Panel under the overall framework of UNHCR’s Best Interest Procedures (BIP), Establishing or strengthening the capacity of community-based child protection structures, Community outreach/mobilization such as conducting awareness raising sessions for children and their parents/caregivers, Providing recreational, structured and non-structured PSS activities, as well as physiotherapy for children with disabilities, providing capacity building to government counterparts responsible for child protection.

 

 

Purpose of Position:

The aim of the position is to manage the Project’s and financial controlling.

 

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Verify the numerical correctness of contracts and execute payments.
  • Providing necessary documents and reports for internal controlling.
  • Compiling and presenting financial and budget reports.
  • Ensuring that financial statements and records comply with laws and regulations of KSC organization and its Donors.
  • Checking receipts and balances the field offices’ cash sheets.
  • Preparing proper receipts.
  • Preparing all the related documents to finance department.
  • Reviewing all the documents before submitting them to finance department.
  • Preparing monthly payment sheets for staff (salaries).
  • Processing claims for travel expenses.
  • Maintaining the office inventory list.
  • Immediately reports all problems involving finance and regulations.
  • Filing all the important documents regarding the office’s finance.

Qualifications and preferred skills:

  • Bachelor of Economics, Accounting or Finance, related degree.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience.
  • Proficiency in written and spoken Kurdish , and English.
  • Must be results oriented,
  • Good interpersonal, organizational and management skills.
  • Integrity, commitment and respect for diversity.
  • Computer literate.
