Job Overview

Function prerequisite:
The Finance Intern will play a crucial role in supporting our financial operations while also contributing to our digital archiving efforts. The Finance Intern will assist in maintaining accurate financial records and ensure compliance with accounting standards, utilizing digital archiving systems to organize and securely preserve financial documents and data.
Responsibilities:
The responsibilities of the Intern are summarized in the following:

·       Organize and categorize digital documents systematically according to established archival standards and organizational requirements.

·       Ensure documents are correctly labeled, indexed, and stored for easy retrieval and future reference.

·       Coordinate and oversee uploading digital documents and records into the Agresso system.

·       Verify data accuracy and ensure documents are correctly associated with relevant projects within Agresso.

·       Conduct regular quality checks to verify the completeness and accuracy of archived documents and data.

·       Communicate effectively with team members to provide updates on progress, challenges, and solutions related to digital archiving tasks.

·       Assist in day-to-day financial operations, including cash management, vouchers preparation, and handling.

·       Help maintain financial records and ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures.

·       Provide administrative support to the finance team as needed.

Required qualifications:
Must have:

·       University degree in Finance, business management, or other relevant educational degree.

·       Proficiency in English and Kurdish. Arabic is an advantage.

·       Excellent computer skills, understanding of ICT systems, and experience with MS Office applications, including Excel.

Other qualifications:
·       Familiarity with archival principles, practices, and standards.

·       Strong attention to detail.

·       Effective communication skills.

·       Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
