Financial Inclusion Manager

Job Overview

Key Goal:

The ideal candidate will work towards improving access and availability of financial services for all sections of the society, including those who are underprivileged or living in remote areas to support economic growth and empower communities.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement financial inclusion strategies aligned with organizational objectives.
  • Identify barriers to financial access and propose targeted solutions.
  • Design, implement, and monitor programs that promote financial literacy and access to financial services.
  • Develop financial products tailored to the needs of underserved populations.
  • Build and maintain relationships with financial institutions, government agencies, non-profits, and other stakeholders.
  • Advocate for policies and practices that promote financial inclusion.
  • Analyze market trends and customer data to identify opportunities and challenges in financial inclusion.
  • Prepare and present reports to stakeholders, detailing progress and impact.
  • Managing relationships with donors and partners and identifying new funding opportunities
  • Developing and organizing workshops and training programs to educate individuals about the importance of financial services and how to use them
  • Monitoring and evaluating the impact of financial inclusion initiatives and making necessary adjustments for improvement.
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations related to financial services and inclusion
  • Advocating for policy changes that can improve financial inclusion
  • Develop metrics to assess the effectiveness of financial inclusion programs.
  • Monitor program performance and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree.

Experience: At least 3 to 5 years’ experience in financial inclusion, microfinance or related field.

Language: Fluent English and fluent Arabic are must, good command in Kurdish

  • Proven track record of designing and managing financial inclusion program
  • Experience working with diverse stakeholders
  • Strong understanding of financial products, digital finance and regulatory frameworks
  • Knowledge of fintech, mobile banking and digital payment is a plus.
