We are looking for Fleet Coordinator to join our team in Erbil city. 

 

Working Schedule: 6 Days/ Week, 8 Hours/ Day

 

Summary:

The Fleet Coordinator is responsible for the efficient operation and management of the company’s fleet of vehicles. This includes scheduling maintenance, managing drivers, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and optimizing fleet utilization to reduce costs and improve service delivery.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Manage, direct and monitor fleet to increase efficiency and maximize service and performance.
  • Utilize agreed systems to manage the fleet – operation, functions, analysis and documentation.
  • Assist in developing plans for team activities to include strategy to achieve agreed target.
  • Maintain and improve mechanisms for the operation of the fleet, including surveying and measuring the satisfaction with the fleet service and disseminate feedback to the appropriate internal entities.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and logistics partners to ensure timely delivery of goods.
  • Develop and implement logistics strategies that improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as operations, to ensure smooth and efficient logistical processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Fleet Management:
    • Oversee the daily operations of the fleet, ensuring all vehicles are properly maintained and available for use.
    • Schedule regular maintenance and repairs to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of vehicles.
    • Coordinate the acquisition and disposal of fleet vehicles.
  2. Driver Management:
    • Recruit, train, and manage drivers, ensuring they comply with company policies and legal regulations.
    • Monitor driver performance, including adherence to schedules, safety standards, and efficiency.
    • Closely monitoring riders’ compliance (Hygiene and Safety).
  3. Compliance and Safety:
    • Ensure all fleet activities comply with local, state, and federal regulations, including vehicle registration, inspections, and safety standards.
    • Conduct regular safety audits and implement safety programs to minimize accidents and incidents.
  4. Operational Efficiency:
    • Develop and implement strategies to optimize fleet utilization and reduce operational costs.
    • Monitor fuel consumption, route efficiency, and vehicle performance to identify areas for improvement.
  5. Record Keeping and Reporting:
    • Maintain accurate records of vehicle maintenance, repairs, and inspections.
    • Prepare regular reports on fleet performance, costs, and other key metrics for management review.
  6. Customer Service:
    • Ensure timely and efficient service delivery by coordinating vehicle availability and driver schedules.
    • Address and resolve any issues or complaints related to fleet operations.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3 years of experience in logistics or fleet management as a coordinator.
  • Fluency in Kurdish and Arabic, Excellent level of English.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team. 
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and very good problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
