JOB SUMMARY

The Fuels Technician is responsible for managing and maintaining fuel systems, ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of fuel to various types of equipment and machinery. This role involves conducting routine inspections, performing maintenance on fuel systems, ensuring compliance with regulations, and troubleshooting any fuel-related issues. The Fuels Technician collaborates closely with other team members and departments to ensure uninterrupted and efficient fuel delivery and usage. Additionally, the Fuels Technician actively supports and upholds the company’s vision, mission, and values.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform bulk, retail, and aircraft refueling operations.
• Ensure all government and U.S. Air Force environmental regulations and standard operation procedures (SOPs) are followed.
• Safely upload and offload fuel tanker trucks.
• Perform fuel testing procedures on ground fuel.
• Oversee the offloading and uploading of fuel tanker trucks.
• Carry out additional duties as assigned by management.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office programs is preferred.
• Must possess operational knowledge of Army Techniques Publication (ATP-4-43.)
• Extensive hands-on refueling proficiency.
• Have a comprehensive understanding of applicable Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), military regulatory guidance in ground refueling and Airfield Operations Safety, Department of Transportation (DOT) fuel storage, and distribution provisions.
• Have a valid Iraqi and Sallyport driver’s license.
• Prior military experience is preferred but not required.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Experience working with diverse cultures and various trade skills in an austere, hazardous environment is preferred.
• Able to fluently read, write, and speak English.
• Have a minimum of three years of work history with experience in fuels, fuel accountability, forecasting, and petroleum storage and distribution operations.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORK CONDITIONS

• Required to work in an austere environment under extremely hot weather conditions.
• Physical requirements for this position may involve using heavy equipment, lifting items up to 35 pounds independently, and team lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Additional physical tasks may include climbing ladders, sitting or standing for extended periods, and performing movements such as stooping, stretching, or bending.

مسؤوليات الوظيفة

•  تنفيذ عمليات التزود بالوقود بالجملة والتجزئة والطائرات.
•  التأكد من اتباع جميع اللوائح البيئية وإجراءات التشغيل القياسية (SOPs) الخاصة بالحكومة والقوات الجوية الأمريكية.
•  تحميل وتفريغ شاحنات صهاريج الوقود بأمان.
•  تنفيذ إجراءات اختبار الوقود على الوقود الأرضي.
•  الإشراف على تفريغ وتحميل شاحنات صهاريج الوقود.
• تنفيذ مهام إضافية حسب تكليف الإدارة.

المؤهلات الوظيفية

•  يفضل أن يكون لديه معرفة ممتازة ببرامج Microsoft Office.
•  يجب أن يمتلك معرفة تشغيلية بمنشور تقنيات الجيش (ATP-4-43.)
•  إتقان عملي واسع النطاق للتزود بالوقود.
•  أن يكون لديه فهم شامل لإدارة الطيران الفيدرالية (FAA) وإدارة السلامة والصحة المهنية (OSHA) والإرشادات التنظيمية العسكرية في مجال التزود بالوقود على الأرض وسلامة عمليات المطارات وتخزين الوقود وتوزيعه التابعة لوزارة النقل (DOT).

•  يفضل الخبرة في العمل مع ثقافات متنوعة ومهارات تجارية مختلفة في بيئة قاسية وخطرة.
•  أن يكون قادرًا على القراءة والكتابة والتحدث باللغة الإنجليزية بطلاقة.
• أن يكون لديه خبرة لا تقل عن ثلاث سنوات في العمل مع خبرة في الوقود والمساءلة عن الوقود والتنبؤ وتخزين وتوزيع البترول.

• • مطلوب العمل في بيئة قاسية في ظل ظروف جوية شديدة الحرارة.
