Job Overview

RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS DESCRIPTION

1. Ensuring that the department provides the best possible service to customers and achieves agreed profit levels and customer satisfaction.
2. Holding daily morning team meetings to ensure that the parts team isfully aware of all operational and customer issues and challenges for the day ahead.
3. Conducting individual parts advisor reviews daily to ensure that all relevant assigned responsibilities are up to date, e.g., pre-pick, Parts special order bookings, Warranty returns, R.T.S credits, perpetual stock counts, Shop stocks, backorder reports, etc.
4. Carrying out quarterly personal appraisals for all team members within your team.
5. Conducting monthly team meetings with all members of the parts sales team to communicate department results, objectives, and any additional dealership requirements that may be appropriate.
6. Organizing, directing, and controlling the activities of the parts department team to achieve plans and budgets, ensuring optimum use of all material, financial, and personnel resources.
7. On a daily, weekly, and monthly basis, ensure that all reporting, both financial and operation information, is completed and submitted within the agreed timescales to all relevant parties, e.g., month-end reports, group reports, etc.
8. Ensuring that the Parts Dept. banking is reconciled daily.
9. Contributing to the development of all operating and administrative policies and procedures to ensure the achievement of all tasks smoothly and in a timely manner.
10. Dealing with customer complaints personally where necessary and utilizing a parts department goodwill budget when applicable.
11. Maintain and continuously evaluate management statistics, plans, and budgets and provide information to the manufacturer when required.
12. Continuously monitor stock levels to ensure maximum stock turn, ensuring minimum obsolete stock levels as per company policy and 95% on first-time parts availability.
13. Organize and establish control systems for all departmental resources, material, financial, and personnel, and monitor cautiously all factors affecting the achievement of plans.  Assess trends in all key indicators, agree on corrective action, and implement in a timely manner.

REQUIRED PROFILE:

1. Mechanical Engineering Degree.
2. Must speak English; Arabic is a plus.
3. Minimum 6 years of experience.
4. Eye to Details
5. Experience in Parts Ordering and Receiving Procedures.
6. Knowledge of Parts Planning
7. Strong communication and negotiation skills.
8. Management and Leadership Skills.
9. Strong computer knowledge.
