Position Summary:
The GR Coordinator will play a crucial role in supporting the GR department by managing and coordinating activities related to government relations and public affairs and ensuring the smooth operation of GR-related activities. GR Coordinator will possess excellent communication skills, attention to de-tail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Job Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with other departments, such as technical, asset and property, legal, other de-partments, and external resources, to ensure alignment of department tasks.
• Coordinate with Clients in terms of official letters and follow-up to avoid any delay.
• Managing the phone calls related to the department politely and professionally.
• Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence, including mail and email.
• Organize and maintain electronic and hard copy filing systems.
• Monitor and analyze government policies and regulation.
• Ensure the company complies with applicable laws, regulations.
• Responsible for tracking, processing invoices, and maintaining financial records.
• Coordinate with internal teams to prepare and submit necessary documentation, permits, and licenses required for the company’s projects and operations.

Required Experience:
• Experience in government relations, public affairs.
• Experience in advocacy is highly desirable.
• Experience in managing and building relationships with various stakeholders.
• Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in political science, Public Relations, or related field preferred.
• Strong knowledge of the Iraqi telecommunications market, including regulatory frameworks, political landscape, and key stakeholders.

Skills & Competencies:
• Fluency (both oral and written) in both English and Arabic.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Identifying and solving complex problems related to government relations.
• Strong research and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
• Strong persuasive and negotiation skills.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
