CONTRACT LENGTH: 1 months with the expectation of extension
OBJECTIVE: We are currently seeking a Designer to contribute to the Communication and Outreach department’s responsibilities within the project. The role encompasses enhancing DCEO reporting layouts and graphics in all DCEO document that include [weekly, quarterly and annual documents], and composing materials for the project.
The ideal candidate will be a creative visionary with an exceptional eye for design and meticulous attention to detail. Reports to: Communications and Outreach Manager
Required Travel: as per project needs
Responsibilities:
- Design and produce visual content for a variety of platforms, including websites, social media, print materials, and digital marketing campaigns.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to conceptualize and implement creative solutions that align with the company’s branding strategy.
- Utilize graphic design software to create high-quality graphics, layouts, and designs.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends and technologies to ensure innovative and fresh designs.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, from concept through completion, ensuring deadlines are met and designs meet or exceed expectations.
- Provide creative input and suggestions to enhance campaign strategies and brand visibility.
- Work closely with the content team to ensure cohesive and consistent branding across all materials.Other duties as assigned by a supervisor.
- Ability to translate complex data into digestible and visually appealing formats for diverse audiences.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum education of a Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field if not, then work experience in design is required.
- Excellent English, Arabic, and [Kurdish is a plus] language skills, both written and verbal, to communicate effectively with team members and understand project requirements.
- Strong portfolio showcasing a range of projects, including digital and print design.
- Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
- Creative and innovative thinker with the ability to translate ideas into visually compelling designs.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new tools and technologies.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
- Openness to feedback and a commitment to personal and professional growth.
