Job description

The Head of ZoodPay Offline BNPL will be focusing on analyzing the retail market, assessing its potential, recruiting Key Partners into ZoodPay Fintech Buy Now, Pay Later offline solution in Baghdad, and will also be managing the Sales team, a team of Key Account managers and work closely with IT and other related departments.

Responsibilities

  • Identifying potential partnership opportunities by researching market/industry and keeping a close eye on key developments in the region
  • Using knowledge of the market and competitors in identifying and developing the company’s unique selling propositions and differentiators
  • Creating and training a Sales team who will be able to achieve the goals
  • Planning sales on a monthly / quarterly / yearly basis
  • Monitoring the achievement of the set goals
  • Sharing knowledge and skills with the team, transferring best practices, and implementing them into work processes
  • Building effective processes while interacting partners and connecting them to services, developing and supporting partners within the framework of cooperation
  • Meeting potential clients by growing, maintaining, and leveraging a professional network
  • Identifying and mapping business strengths and customer needs
  • Conducting regular business review meetings, including forecast calls with global teams
  • Working towards achieving daily KPIs and monthly sales targets
  • Compiling and analyzing performance metrics to assess placements effectiveness and to identify new opportunities
  • Plan follow up actions, on regular basis, to focus on the performance measurement, achievements, challenges, customer satisfaction and problems
  • Managing all efforts to develop and implement the strategy alongside internal and external partners ensuring that the set plans operate reliably
  • Ensuring strategies and business plans are developed, documented, communicated, and implemented
  • Working with IT, Product, and Marketing global teams
  • Notify management of any internal process deviation, or if any improvement is needed
  • Escalate system bugs, APP issues to related departments
  • Prepare monthly/annual results and performance reports

Job requirements

  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Sales Manager or a relevant role
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Marketing, or another related field
  • Fluent in spoken and written Arabic and English languages
  • Skills of building and implementing strategies
  • Ability to teach and implement best practices in work processes
  • Ability to build financial models and return on investment
  • Ability to plan sales for the short and long term
  • Knowledge and ability to apply the best sales techniques, understanding of SPIN sales techniques
  • Skills of presenting sales plans to the team
  • Skills for assessing the market and its potential
  • Experience in creative and aggressive sales prospecting
  • Capability to build a strong rapport with existing and potential clients
  • Ability to work effectively within fast-paced, diverse and cross-functional teams
  • Self-motivated, high personal expectations, team player, client-focused, well organized, and analytical mindset
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
