STANDARD MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, or a related field is required.
Experiences:
- Professional certifications or specialized training in occupational safety and health, risk
assessment, incident investigation or related areas are required.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in infrastructure/construction projects.
- Knowledge of international OHS standards, regulations, and best practices is desired.
- Experience in monitoring and reporting on OHS performance is desired.
- Experience in providing technical assistance and guidance on OHS issues to project teams and
stakeholders are desired.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate OHS concepts,
enforce their Implementation and promote a culture of safety is desired.
- Knowledge and experience in liaison with local authorities and understanding of the specific cultural circumstances.
- Experience with UN or international organization working in crisis environment is desirable.
Language: proficiency in Arabic and English.
