STANDARD MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, or a related field is required.

Experiences:

• Professional certifications or specialized training in occupational safety and health, risk

assessment, incident investigation or related areas are required.

• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in infrastructure/construction projects.
• Knowledge of international OHS standards, regulations, and best practices is desired.
• Experience in monitoring and reporting on OHS performance is desired.
• Experience in providing technical assistance and guidance on OHS issues to project teams and

stakeholders are desired.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate OHS concepts,

enforce their Implementation and promote a culture of safety is desired.

• Knowledge and experience in liaison with local authorities and understanding of the specific cultural circumstances.
• Experience with UN or international organization working in crisis environment is desirable.

Language: proficiency in Arabic and English.
