Health, Safety & Environment Specialist

Scope of work:

• Ensuring that the contractor’s work aligns with the project’s health and safety plan.
• Carrying out inspections of workplaces and taking necessary action to ensure compliance.
• Assisting in responding to and investigating concerns/complaints from workers/employers and
• assists in taking appropriate action. Assisting in investigating accidents or injuries that occur in the workplace. And conducting Environmental Assessment
• assessing the risks posed by activities that could result in environmental risks and recommending a mitigation plan
• Liaise with client, contractor and internal staff over health and safety issues.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor degree in a related study
• At least 10 years of experience as a Health, Safety & Environment Specialist.
• Possess strong knowledge of Health and environment international standards
• International training or certifications such as OSHA/ NEBOSH is a plus
