Heavy Equipment Manager- BGH

Job Overview

Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a safe work environment by enforcing safety rules and regulations.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures for the department.
  • Keep abreast of new developments in the field of heavy equipment and make recommendations for the purchase of new equipment.
  • Manage the budget for the maintenance and repair of heavy equipment.
  • To be responsible for the governmental deals and tenders under the fleet department.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in business, engineering, or a related field.
  • 10+ years’ experience in heavy equipment management or similar role.
  • It is a national position: Iraqi nationality is a must.
  • Proven track record of successful project management.
  • Strong understanding of financial analysis and budgeting.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • Familiarity with international standards for heavy equipment.
