STANDARD MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or electrical and mechanical.
Experiences:
- Minimum 7 years of extensive coordination and development experience including renovation and construction works.
- Experience in design, preparation of BoQ, estimated costs of civil structures
- Knowledge of international standards, specifically for civil works related to housing
- Preparation of work progress reports, daily, weekly, milestone, etc
- Proven ability to work with multi-disciplinary teams and liaison with authorities.
- Experience in supervising rehabilitation works and managing projects.
- At least 2 years of Experience from previous UN assignments and/or multilateral organizations and bi-lateral aid organizations.
Technical skills required:
- Functionally related professional management and engineering skills.
- Ability to plan and prioritise work activities to meet organizational goals and organize and oversee work processes efficiently to achieve quality results.
- Reporting skills.
Language: Fluency in Arabic is required with good command in English.
