STANDARD MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or electrical and mechanical.

Experiences:

• Minimum 7 years of extensive coordination and development experience including renovation and construction works.
• Experience in design, preparation of BoQ, estimated costs of civil structures
• Knowledge of international standards, specifically for civil works related to housing
• Preparation of work progress reports, daily, weekly, milestone, etc
• Proven ability to work with multi-disciplinary teams and liaison with authorities.
• Experience in supervising rehabilitation works and managing projects.
• At least 2 years of Experience from previous UN assignments and/or multilateral organizations and bi-lateral aid organizations.

Technical skills required:

• Functionally related professional management and engineering skills.
• Ability to plan and prioritise work activities to meet organizational goals and organize and oversee work processes efficiently to achieve quality results.
• Reporting skills.

Language: Fluency in Arabic is required with good command in English.
