Job Overview

Mission: The HR and Admin Lead plays a crucial role in supporting the Human Resources and Administration department in various functions related to HR management and administrative tasks. This position involves overseeing the recruitment process, assisting in shaping the HR department, drafting procedures, monitoring staff contracts, managing leave records, and providing general administrative support.

Main responsibilities :

 

  • Lead the full recruitment cycle from sourcing and screening candidates to conducting interviews and facilitating the hiring process.
  • Coordinate new employee onboarding activities, including orientation sessions and paperwork completion.
  • Support the HR and Admin Manager in developing and implementing HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Draft and maintain HR-related documents, such as employee handbooks, job descriptions, and HR forms.
  • Monitor and manage staff contracts, ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations
  • Maintain accurate employee records and databases, including personnel files.
  • Administer and track employee leave entitlements, including annual leave, sick leave, and other types of leave.
  • Coordinate leave requests, approvals, and adjustments in accordance with company policies and applicable laws.
  • Collaborate with managers to address performance issues and implement improvement plans as needed.
  • Prepare and maintain HR reports, and metrics, and track key HR indicators.
  • Provide management and direction to the administration team, including administrative assistant receptionists, and office support staff.
  • Address any issues or concerns related to workspace cleanliness, safety hazards, or maintenance issues promptly and effectively.
  • Serve as a liaison between the administration team and other departments to address cross-functional needs and initiatives.
  • Support the HR and Admin manager with planning and facilitating teambuilding activities.

Job requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Proven experience in HR administration, recruitment, and employee relations.
  • Strong understanding of HR principles, practices, and employment laws.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • At least 2-3 years of professional experience working with private sector in a similar position.
  • Advance IT knowledge (hardware and software, Microsoft Office,).
  • Fluency in Arabic language. Good English language skills is a must.
