Work Overview:

HR Specialist responsibilities include preparing compensation and benefits packages, setting up company policies and maintaining updated employee records. To be successful in this role, you should have a good understanding of full cycle recruiting and solid knowledge of labor legislation.

 

Responsibilities:

Implementing recruitment from A to Z by creating job postings, screening resumes, and conducting interviews.
Coordinating the onboarding process for new hires, including documentation, orientation, and training.
Preparation of the monthly payroll, including deductions, benefits, and compliance with labor laws and company policies.
Following up social security, residency and work permit with the company’s lawyer.
Applying for visas, receiving accommodation and booking flight ticket.
Addressing employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and other related matters.
Supporting the resolution of employee issues and conflicts in a fair and timely manner.
Maintaining employee records, both physical and digital, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
Carrying out performance appraisal processes.
Tracking employee performance reviews, feedback, and development plans.
Helping ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations, and update policies as needed.
Monitoring and communicating changes in labor laws and employment practices to the team.
Supporting the administration of employee benefits, such as health insurance and leaves.
Assisting employees with benefit-related inquiries and claims.

Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Proven 2 years’ experience in HR and administrative field.
Good understanding of HR practices, Iraqi labor laws, and regulations.
Excellent communication skills
Fluent in Kurdish, Arabic and English.
Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
Strong organizational and time management skills.

Working Hours:

9 Hours / From 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM with a 1-hour break

Working Days:

Six days a week / From Saturday to Thursday
