To provide HR management and support to approximate 1,000+ employees.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITY:

● Ensure G4S policies are implemented and adhered to by the project. Continually oversee that all employees are compliant.
● Manages Expatriate HR in compliance with GoI employment law and G4S policies covering:
recruitment standards, vetting, deployment to Iraq, service agreements, terms and conditions of work, leave, pay, discipline, demobilisation and termination.
● Manages Local National HR, in compliance with GoI employment law and G4S policies covering: recruitment standards, vetting, employment, service agreements, terms and conditions of work, leave, pay, discipline and termination.
● Manages, coach and mentor staff ensuring G4S Standards of Excellence are being delivered.
● Maintains Expatriate recruitment bench for fully capable and qualified candidates with Aviation Security profiles. Continually monitors ongoing screening until deployment.
● Handles the Iraqi National recruitment process from interviews, completing pre-employment
documentation, obtaining temporary security clearances, FTW medical certificates until completing training courses. Maintains two-way channel communication with the Client to ensure transparency and smooth transition of deployment of new hires.
● Initiate appropriate documentation for all staff including G4S Disciplines, Appeals and Grievance procedures where necessary.
● Effectively supervises Master Leave Plots ensuring all accrued leaves spent without any delays on departmental operations.
● Oversees the management and completion of the Manning Report daily, weekly and monthly against the actual headcount for the project.
● In-charge of the KPI monthly reporting process.
● Efficiently manages the Payroll process and in direct coordination to the Payroll Department for further concerns including deductions, additions, paid accruals and in-country pay requests. Ensures all employees receive their pay statement every month.
● Ensures G4S Health and Safety Standards are observed, adhered to and report upon when required.

● Oversees smooth monthly reports process but not limited to random drug and alcohol tests,
screener eye tests, appraisals, random driving assessment, letter translations and timesheets.
● Effectively motivates staff and provide effective two way communication within the department so as to encourage feedback and promote improvement in efficiency, effectiveness and customer service.
● Ensures HR administration and reports relating to employment are maintained such as Employee Recruitment, on boarding and out processing of employees, Service Agreements, New Hire Arrival Documentation, Change of Employee Contracts, Changes of Personal Information, Performance Appraisal, Casualties and Medical Evacuation, Record of Illness and Injury.
● Direct coordination to Travel Team in relation to visa application requests, visa activation, flights and its amendments.
● Manages team effort of all government-mandated requirements – Work permits, Sponsor forms, MOI cards, tax reports.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

Educational Requirements / Qualifications:
● Degree (or equivalent professional qualification) in a relevant discipline (Essential)
● Management or Security Management certification (Desirable)
● IT literate (high standard) in MS Word, EXCEL and PowerPoint (Essential)
Experience:
● Over five years’ management experience within the private sector
● Over two years’ experience on screening and vetting of qualified candidates
● Experience as HR Manager within Iraq, or comparable location
● Experience of managing HR function within large organisation (1000+ personnel)
● Experience of mobilising large uplifts of Expat and Iraqi personnel for new contracts
● Experience of managing multiple remote HR teams
● Experience of Iraqi compliance, movement processes and applications
● Experience of working in low-infrastructure countries
● Change management experience
