INFRASTRUCTURE & BUILDING SECTION HEAD

30785 – INFRASTRUCTURE & BUILDING SECTION HEAD                                               

At Eni, we are looking for an Infrastructure & Building Section Head within the Zubair Field Operating Division in Zubair, Iraq. You will be responsible for managing the overall Infrastructure & Building activities, from pre-contract award stage to construction planning, through to final handover.

As a member of the Facilities Improvement and Construction department, you will be responsible for:

• Timeliness and efficiency of construction works execution.
• Technical quality of project constructability reviews.
• Provision of guidance and expertise, contributing during the feasibility, design and construction phase of all infrastructure related subjects.
• Provision of professional engineering advice and assistance, ensuring adherence to accepted engineering and management techniques, practices and principles.
• Managing the development and providing monitoring and assistance in evaluating contracts related to the project.
• Ensuring that FI&C activities are planned and prepared to ensure readiness for implementation at the designated point in the implementation process.
• Coordinating with WOP department with regards to drilling and workover rig activities, ensuring readiness of site preparations accordingly.
• Reporting to department management all revealed shortcomings within his/her competence.
• Putting forward proposals for continuous improvement of the activities implemented within this job position.
• Identification and adoption of the correct HSEQ standards, according to company standards and local norms and legislation.
• Updating cost breakdown structure according to existing cost estimates and allocating costs to the relevant cost elements.
• Updating procurement and contract plans.
• Managing contractors’ activities, including construction works troubleshooting.
• Managing construction site superintendent and supervisors.

• Engineering/Technical Degree /Technical Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Advanced management skills.
• Knowledge of project management.
• Upper-intermediate level of English.
