Job Summary

Starter-Mid IP Security and Network Eng., This role involves managing, securing network infrastructures (IT and Telecom) while ensuring the integrity and security of IP communications. You will be responsible for implementing network security solutions, troubleshooting issues, and maintaining the network performance and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Configure, Troubleshoot and Monitor routers, switches, firewalls, and other network equipment to meet traffic flow and ensure network security.
• Knowledge in security systems such as VPNs, IPSec, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IPS), firewalls, WAF and encryption protocols to protect sensitive data.
• knowledge in network protocol such as OSPF, BGP and full understanding of IP layers. in addition, knowledge in VLANs, Spanning-Tree types and HA concepts and protocols.

Qualifications:   

• Iraqi National and to be fluent in English.
• BS in Computer Engineer, Information Technology Engineer.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in network administration, network security, or a similar role.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, HCIA, NSE4) are highly desirable.
• Basic experience with networking protocols and technologies (e.g., TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, Firewall, WAF, Switches, Routers)
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
• A positive, solutions-focused attitude, with a strong ability to handle challenges and find creative solutions.
