Job Overview

Business Context and Main Purpose of the Job

The Assistant Distributor Manager needs to ensure:

  • Develop and implement distribution strategies to ensure optimal RTM and coverage
  • Manage and grow the existing distributor network, continuously evaluating and identifying areas for improvement
  • Develop strong relationships with distributors, providing them with the necessary support and resources to achieve their sales targets
  • Monitor distributor performance and conduct regular performance reviews to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Ensure that adequate stock levels are maintained at all times, working closely with the supply chain team to manage inventory levels
  • Analyse market trends and competitor activities, and make recommendations to the senior management team to improve market share and profitability
  • Collaborate with the sales team of the distributor and cross functional team to develop and implement promotional activities that drive sales and increase brand visibility
  • Provide regular reports on distributor performance, market trends, and sales forecasts,

Main Accountabilities

  • Deliver on Annual Plan
  • Continuously improve Customer relations (profitability, growth of share, loyalty, satisfaction, etc)
  • Champion Consumer / Shopper Insight excellence
  • Bring Win with Customer programme to live and lead continuous improvement of the capabilities of the CD team
  • Lead pilots of new innovative channels/ ways to get to consumers and bring successful  pilots to maturity

Critical success Factors for the Job

Key Skills

– 5 to 10 years experience in sales preferably in a multinational environment
