Job Summary:

The Sales & Marketing Officer will be executing effective sales and marketing strategies. This role involves promoting travel packages, building and maintaining client relationships, and contributing to the overall success of the agency’s sales and marketing efforts.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Sales and Client Acquisition:

  • Promote and sell various travel packages, including vacation deals, tour packages, and special offers, to individual clients and corporate entities.
  • Identify potential clients through market research, referrals, and networking.
  • Respond to inquiries promptly and professionally, providing accurate information about travel options, itineraries, and costs.
  • Customize travel packages to meet clients’ specific needs and preferences.

Relationship Building:

  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their travel preferences and requirements.
  • Address client concerns, inquiries, and issues, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Follow up with clients post-trip to gather feedback and ensure a positive experience.

Marketing and Promotion:

  • Develop and implement creative marketing strategies to promote the agency’s services, leveraging various channels such as social media, online advertising, and traditional marketing methods.
  • Create engaging content, including blog posts, social media updates, and newsletters, to attract and engage potential travelers.
  • Collaborate with graphic designers and content creators to develop visually appealing marketing materials.

Collaboration and Coordination:

  • Collaborate with other team members, such as travel agents, tour guides, and customer support, to ensure seamless customer experiences.
  • Coordinate with suppliers, hotels, airlines, and transportation providers to negotiate favorable terms and secure the best deals for clients.

Market Research and Analysis:

  • Monitor industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer preferences to identify opportunities for business growth and innovation.
  • Analyze sales data and marketing performance metrics to adjust strategies and improve overall effectiveness.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hospitality or IT;
  • Minimum 2-3 Years of Experience in Sales or Marketing positions;
  • Fluency in Kurdish or Arabic languages and English language is an advantage;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and Outlook) and Travel Softwares;
  • Strong understanding of travel products, destinations, and industry trends.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms, including social media, email marketing, and content management systems.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
  • Problem-solving skills to address client needs and resolve issues effectively.
  • Attention to detail and organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

Working Condition and Benefit Package:

  • Working Days & Hours: 6 days per week & 8 Hours per day;
  • Salary: Basic Salary plus Commission;
  • Annual Leave: 20 Working Days per Year;
  • Communication: Sim-Card, Internet & Monthly Scratch Card for business purpose.
